On Saturday nights, you can return home safely thanks to the Collina d’Oro Night Express. This service, made possible by the support of the municipalities of Collina d’Oro, Barbengo, Grancia, Lugano and Sorengo, departs from Lugano at 1 a.m.

Routes and timetables
The Collina d’Oro Night Express departs from the Lugano Centro bus station at 1 a.m. on Saturday nights, stopping at the Cinestar by Cornaredo Stadium and Lugano railway station before continuing towards Montagnola and Agra, and then heading via Pian Scairolo to Barbengo and Grancia.
Tickets and prices
The ticket price is CHF 2.00, regardless of the distance travelled. National travelcards (GA Travelcard and Half Fare Travelcard) are not valid.
The Arcobaleno travelcard is valid if the route travelled is located within the area of validity.
It is possible to buy a ticket on board the vehicle.
In the Canton of Ticino, tickets can be purchased from the end of 2026 in Postbuses or from important transfer accounts at mini terminals. From this point onwards, it will no longer be possible to purchase tickets from drivers.
