A view of six neighbouring countries
From the mountain station, a wheelchair-accessible tunnel takes you on a mystical journey to the summit, which offers a revolving restaurant and panoramic trail.
At exactly 1,794 metres above sea level, the wheelchair-accessible Europa Rundweg Circular Trail leads you on a circuit around the revolving restaurant and offers views of six neighbouring countries. Viewing spots with telescopes, benches and information boards encourage you to take your time and marvel at the scenery.
Alpine Garden
In the warmer seasons, a walk through the Alpine Garden will make your visit complete. A fascinating floral world of 300 Alpine plants is waiting to be discovered. The Hoher Kasten is also home to a wide variety of animals. The elegant golden eagle, the timid mountain hare and the rare Eurasian lynx are all in danger of extinction − but they can be found living here.
