Imagine standing at a bus stop and wondering where your Postbus is right now. With the new Post-App preview, you receive an answer right away! The app shows you the live locations of Postbuses on a map in real time. That way, you can see exactly how close the vehicle is to your stop and know when it will arrive. This makes waiting much more relaxing, and you’re always well informed!
Why can I see real-time data in the Post-App preview but not in my own PostBus App?
With the new Post-App preview, Swiss Post offers customer-centric services in a single app. In addition to traditional postal transactions such as sending parcels and letters, the app is now also integrating the PostBus unit. By focussing on a single app, we can make optimum use of synergies and pool our resources efficiently. Our aim is to make access to Swiss Post as easy and convenient as possible for you. With the new Post-App preview, you benefit from a wide range of functions that are perfectly coordinated. This means that all important Swiss Post services, including the live Postbus locations, are always at hand in one app.
What is the Post-App preview?
Swiss Post is pleased to offer the new Post-App preview to gather targeted feedback from interested customers and adapt the app to their needs in the best way possible. The aim is to replace the existing Post-App with the features and new look of the preview app by the end of the year.
Currently, the latest version for iOS is more comprehensive in terms of features, while the Android version is already available and will be continuously expanded with the features from iOS.
What functions are available?
The new Post-App preview offers a range of optimizations to make your user experience even more pleasant and efficient.
More postal transactions are available to you with the latest version of our iOS app. Use pick@home to have your parcels collected conveniently via the app. Frank your parcels anywhere, anytime with Digital Stamp for parcels and pay the postage with Apple Pay (only for iOS). With My Post 24, you can collect or mail your parcels and registered letters around the clock at terminals – so it fits within your schedule.
